A vanilla Cube World Alpha server.
With the original alpha servers long gone and the community down to a handful of players, this project brings back what's been missing: a true vanilla world. Not an arena, not a reimplementation... the real thing.
It runs on cuwo, the open-source server that emulates Cube World's own world generator. That means terrain, dungeons, loot and creatures are generated by the game's original code, exactly as Wollay wrote it. Nothing approximated.
cuwo hasn't been maintained since 2018. This server runs a rebuilt and modernized version, with the stability problems that used to bring down long-running servers tracked down and put through testing.
- Vanilla gameplay - PvE only
- Day and night cycle. Nights are shorter because the excessive darkness cannot currently be fixed.
